In Douglas’ bedroom, Taylor doesn’t understand what’s going on, but isn’t going to ruin the day. Thomas assures her that he and Steffy will worry about their little thing and she can focus on her special day. Steffy snaps, “Nice try, Thomas, but mom needs to know what you’ve been up to.” Taylor is frustrated and worried.

In the Forrester living room, Lee tells Ridge and the others that Douglas still seems a little subdued. Ridge says it’s not like him. Finn offers to check on him, and Eric thinks he’s probably passed out. Li notes that it’s a big day — especially for Ridge. He looks pensive.
At Brooke’s place, Donna and Katie reassure Brooke that they will get through this horrible day together and tell her how much they love her. There’s a knock on the door and Brooke frowns – she wasn’t expecting anyone. She walked over, opened it, and yelled, “Dad!” Stephen, along with his girlfriend Lucy, happily surprises Donna and Katie as Goup and gives her a big squeeze.
Stephen and Lucy hug Donna and Katie and they embrace how nice it is to finally see their girlfriend face to face. Lucy explains that they were just passing through and Stephen wanted to make their visit a surprise. They rave about Hope’s fashion preview and Lucy says the Forresters and Logans are an unstoppable team. The girls’ faces fall and Stephen asks them to hurry him up. Brooke reveals that Ridge is marrying Taylor today.
At the Forrester estate, Ridge thanks Carter for agreeing to perform the office, and Li thinks the wedding will begin soon. Eric Muse, “Not Without a Bride…”

Upstairs, Thomas and Steffy argue, let it go, and let their mom and dad be happy. “Brooke never called Child Protective Services on Thomas like dad thinks!” said Steffy. Taylor was stunned.
In Brooke’s place, she tells Stephen that she doesn’t trust Thomas, who has made no secret of how he feels about her, and that he wants her out of Ridge’s life. “Here we are!” Stephen feels that Ridge should give her the benefit of the doubt and tell her what’s going on before running to Taylor, “I mean, what the hell?” He wishes he could have done more. Brooke assures her that just being there and supporting her is enough. They hug and express their love.
At the Forrester mansion, Carter notices Ridge looking out the window. He tells him he should be happy. Ridge snaps, “I am.” Carter acknowledges this and assures her that she is there to support and facilitate. They rejoin the others, who wonder what keeps Taylor up. Li says she was almost ready when he saw her. Carter says emotions run high for her, Steffy and Thomas.

Upstairs, Steffy won’t let her parents get married without knowing the truth. She knows they love each other, but Brooke didn’t make that call to CPS. Thomas tells Steffy that this is a bad idea. Steffy explains to Taylor that Douglas has a voice changing app on her phone and Brooke is playing part of the call for her. She plays the call back in Thomas’s voice. He tells his mother that it is not what it seems. Taylor shouts, “Tell me now!” Thomas said, “I called CPS.” Taylor gasped, “Oh my god!” Thomas argues that it doesn’t matter – look where they are now. He worked and Brooke walked out of their lives. Their mother is going to marry their father. Steffy protests that they can’t base their marriage on a lie. “Dad wants to know the truth!”
In Brooke’s place, everyone tries to understand that Ridge is remarrying Taylor. Stephen wonders what happened to Ridge to shut her out like that. Brooke doesn’t know, but she thinks more and more that Thomas has something to do with it. Donna explains that she doesn’t even try to hide her disdain for Brooke. Katie adds that it’s been a constant campaign of Steffy and Thomas, although Steffy has lines she can’t cross…Thomas, not so. Brooke wonders how somehow Thomas got between Ridge and her, now that he’s only minutes away from marrying another woman.

In the Forrester living room, Finn reports that Steffy, Thomas, and Taylor are in a room together. He didn’t want to knock. Ridge shrugs, “Let them have their moment.”
Upstairs, Steffy tells her mother that she wants to marry Ridge, but not start a life together based on a lie. Taylor breathes fast as Steffy hollers and Ridge thinks Brooke called CPS was a lie. She pointed at Thomas, “That was you!” Thomas wonders why she decided to blow it. She’s wanted their parents together for years and thanks him! Taylor snapped, “Thanks?!? Thomas, do you realize what you’ve done? Why, why did this?!? what is wrong with you You handled this entire situation. I thought you had changed!”
Thomas changed; He did this for their family. Brooke has blown up and destroyed their family for years and he is sick. Taylor sees Steffy’s appearance and Ridge says he’s sorry if he let her down, but he wants to be with Brooke because he loves her, not because of anything she’s done. “So go down and marry that man.” Steffy agrees to an extent, but they can’t be married like this. “Mom, I have something to say.” Taylor said, “God, Thomas, I can’t even look at you! Why did you do this?!?” Steffy doesn’t care about Brooke, but what Thomas did to her was wrong – Taylor should tell Ridge. Taylor wants to believe that he’s not with her because of something Brooke did. Steffy repeats that she needs to know. Thomas tells Mom that if she tells Dad, it will ruin her whole relationship with him. Before doing this Taylor exclaims that she should have thought of that! Steffy and Thomas take turns telling Taylor what to do until the wedding music starts. Taylor panics, “What am I going to do?!?” she asks for a minute. Thomas tells her, “Just do it. Go get married.” Steffy says, “Until you tell Dad first.” Once alone, Taylor gasps and aches.
At Brooke’s place, she thinks Ridge is saying his vows to Taylor as they talk. “What’s happening?”

In the Forrester living room, everyone is waiting for the bride. Steffy and Thomas show up and Ridge asks if there’s a problem. Thomas says they were talking to their mom about how much the day meant to their family. Douglas and Steffy looked at each other and she nodded at him. On the way to the altar, she returns the boy’s phone.
The wedding march begins and Taylor walks down the stairs holding her bouquet. She looks at Steffy, then Thomas and Ridge tilt his head, realizing something is wrong. Taylor walks down the aisle feeling emotional and joins Ridge, who asks, “Are you okay?”
